Curriculum Pacer

Privacy policy

Curriculum Pacer keeps your family’s records on your iPhone. We don’t run accounts, servers, analytics, or advertising.

Effective date: October 18, 2026

Curriculum Pacer is made by Nicole Burnett. Questions about this policy: support@curriculumpacer.com.

What you enter in the app

Curriculum Pacer is used by parents. You may enter your children’s names and school information, such as school years and grades, subjects and curricula, progress positions and dates, plan and calendar settings, and corrections to earlier check-ins. The app uses these records to organize your curricula and show progress toward your finish goals.

These records stay on your device. We don’t collect them, and we can’t see them.

Where your records are stored

The app saves your records in an on-device database in its own app storage on your iPhone. Pacing calculations run on the device. The app has no sign-in or account, no developer-run server or sync service, no analytics, no advertising, and no tracking.

Optional cover photos

You can add a cover photo to a curriculum by choosing an image with the system photo picker or by taking a photo, which asks for camera permission. The app saves a resized copy on your device. Photos are optional, and you can choose Remove cover photo at any time. Removing a cover doesn’t delete the original from your photo library. You can turn off camera access in iOS Settings.

Reminders

If you turn on the check-in reminder, or allow the reminder before your free trial ends, the app schedules it on your iPhone as a notification. Nothing is sent to us or to any server to make reminders work. You can turn reminders off in the app or in iOS Settings.

Backups, export, and restore

Exports happen only when you choose to make one. A backup is a file containing your records and saved cover photos, and you choose where to save it using Files. That location, such as iCloud Drive or another storage provider, handles the copy under its own terms. Backup files don’t have a separate password.

Before restoring a backup, and before some app updates convert your data, the app saves a recovery copy of your records on your device. Recovery copies are kept on the device and are not deleted automatically, so they may contain earlier records or cover photos you have since changed or removed.

Your device’s own backups, such as iCloud Backup, may include app data according to your settings. See Apple’s explanation of what iCloud backs up.

Purchases and subscriptions

Purchases and subscriptions are processed by Apple through the App Store. The app receives only the status of your purchase from Apple so it can unlock features. We don’t receive your payment details. Family Sharing is supported, so members of your Apple Family Sharing group can use a purchase. Apple handles payment information under its own privacy policy.

Crash and usage reports

Apple provides developers with crash and usage reports through App Store Connect, including diagnostics from people who choose to share them with app developers in their device settings. Nicole reviews these reports to find and fix problems. They don’t identify you to us. You can turn this sharing off in iOS Settings under Privacy & Security › Analytics & Improvements.

Keeping and deleting your information

Your records stay on your device until you remove them. Correcting a check-in keeps the earlier entry in the curriculum’s history. The app doesn’t currently have a single “delete all data” control.

Deleting a curriculum moves it to Recently deleted on your device for 30 days, then it’s removed. You can restore it before then. After that, Find a deleted curriculum can look through the recovery copies on your device and restore it, if one of them includes it.

Deleting the app from your iPhone removes its data from the device, including recovery copies. Offloading the app keeps its data. Backup files you exported and your device backups are separate copies; manage or delete them where you stored them.

Support email

If you email support@curriculumpacer.com, we receive your email address, your message, and anything you attach. Support email is handled through Google Workspace. We keep support emails only as long as needed to help you, and we delete them on request. Please don’t include children’s names, photos, or backup files unless we ask for them to solve a problem.

This website

This website is hosted by Cloudflare as a static site. It has no analytics, no cookies, no tracking, no ads, and no forms. To deliver and protect the site, Cloudflare may process standard request data, such as your IP address, under Cloudflare’s privacy policy.

Children

Curriculum Pacer is meant for parents, not for children to use on their own. A parent may enter a child’s name and school information, which stays on the parent’s device. We don’t collect it.

Changes to this policy

If the way Curriculum Pacer handles information changes, we’ll update this page and its effective date.
